MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Shelby County taxpayers will soon see their property taxes go down thanks to a compromise by county commissioners.
Commissioners voted Monday to lower the tax rate to $4.11 from $4.13.
They also approved a three percent raise for all county employees.
Shelby County Mayor Mark Luttrell stopped by Live at 9 to talk about the changes Tuesday.
