(Trumann, AR) A 19-year old woman reported a police impersonator to authorities, after she says two men in an older former police car pulled her over using a blue strobe light on the dash.
She says she first spotted the car following her from Jonesboro, through southern Craighead county, to just outside of Trumann.
“He said, ‘You need to get out of the vehicle’” The woman recalled. “I said no. By that time there was a guy on my passenger side trying to open my door”, she said.
The woman who didn’t want to be identified, sped off and called police. They’ve been searching for the men ever since. Authorities say don’t ever stop if you’re suspicious of someone pulling you over, simply call 911.
