MEMPHIS, Tenn. —Two male victims were shot around midnight Sunday morning at Gayoso and Fourth Street Downtown, the Memphis Police Department confirmed.

According to the report, one victim was shot in the left leg while the other was shot in the right leg. One is listed in critical condition.

Another victim was struck by glass after a bullet went through the windshield of her car.

Police say four more people were shot at during the incident but were not injured.

Four men are in police custody: Demetrius Williams, 22, Marcus Ware, 20, Jeremiah Ellis 18, Anthony Smith 22, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm.

The suspects allegedly stopped in the middle of the street in a 2008 or 2009 Infinity G37 and fired shots at the victims before fleeing the scene.

Police caught them at Union Avenue and Claybrook street a short time later.

An assault rifle and two handguns were recovered from the car.

The area of the shooting is about two blocks off Beale Street.
