DESOTO COUNTY, Miss. — The Desoto County Sheriff’s Department is searching for an escaped prisoner.
Phillip Herron, 43, walked away from a work detail in the downtown area of Hernando earlier Tuesday, the sheriff’s office says.
The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department and Hernando Police Department are engaged in the search.
