(Memphis) FedEx is gearing up for what it says will be the busiest day in company history.
The Memphis-based shipping giant is expected to ship more than 19 million packages on December 10th, up ten percent from last year’s busiest day and more than double the volume handled on a typical day.
300,000 team members will serve as Santa’s helpers that day.
The National Retail Federation expects holiday sales to increase 4.1 percent this year to $586.1 billion.
