(Memphis) A ceremony was held Friday marking the City of Memphis’ place on the historic Highway 61 Blues Trail.
The free event was held in front of the George Hunt Blues mural at Third Street and Gayoso downtown.
The area was designated as the Memphis Blues Trail as a way to promote the city’s blues heritage.
