(Cordova) A Shelby County Middle School Counselor gets some state recognition.
Jo Ann Boyd works at Dexter Middle School and won this year’s Middle School Counselor of the Year Award by the Tennessee School Counseling Association.
She has been a professional school counselor with the Shelby County Schools for six years and loves working with the students at Dexter.
