SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — One person was killed and four others injured after a crash Wednesday night in Shelby County.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Houston Levee near Briarcrest Christian School.
One victim was pronounced dead on the scene, and four others have been taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
The sheriff’s office on Thursday identified the victim as Jeremy Johnson, 34, of Memphis.
Deputies are investigating the cause of the crash.
