SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — One person was killed overnight in a shooting in Lakeland.
Deputies responded to the scene in the 9400 block of Memphis-Arlington Road, where they found a male victim dead.
The man’s body was reportedly discovered in the driveway of a church sometime after 11:00 p.m. Friday night.
The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Freddie Mills.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone with information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH.
