(Memphis) Child cancer patients of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital were all smiles Thursday as both teams competing in the 54th AutoZone Liberty Bowl paid them a special visit.
Football players and coaches from Iowa State University and University of Tulsa took a break from practice and toured the hospital, signed autographs, and even posed for pictures with young patients.
A patients will join both football teams for the coin toss ceremony at the start of the game on Monday, December 31 at 2:30 p.m.
Several patients will join The Temptations on the field during their halftime performance at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.
