(Mississippi County, AR) A 3-year-old boy was killed Wednesday near Wilson, Arkansas in the state’s first traffic fatality of 2013.
According to Arkansas State Police, Amber J. Dobbins, 21, was driving north on Arkansas 61 with Ayden B. Shaw, 3, and 1-year-old Aubrey J. Dobbins when the vehicle veered across the opposite lane, went off the road, and hit a tree.
A preliminary reports shows the 3-year-old died from injuries suffered in the crash. Dobbins and the 1-year-old were taken to a hospital for their injuries.
Authorities said weather was not a factor at the time of the accident.
