UPDATE 8:18 AM: Only the right lane remains blocked. Traffic is still backed up for miles on westbound I-240 and westbound 385.

UPDATE 7:43 AM: The two left lanes of westbound I-240 are now open. Westbound traffic on I-240 and 385 still significantly delayed.

(Memphis) A two-car crash has traffic on Interstate 240 backed up for miles. 

The crash is located between Mt. Moriah and Perkins Rd. and is affecting westbound traffic.

We’re told one of the cars is leaking gasoline.

Traffic crews are on the scene and are warning drivers to avoid the area until traffic is clear.

Drivers on Westbound 385 are also experiencing significant delays because of this accident.
