LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Miss. — A Mississippi school district issued a scam alert after receiving information that someone was trying to fraudulently raise money in their name.
According to the Lafayette County School District a company called Endzone Athletics has been calling individuals in the area trying to raise money for Lafayette Athletics. They said the contact person was a woman named Emily.
“This is a scam and not part of an official Lafayette fundraiser,” the district said.
