(Memphis) The State of Education in Tennessee Report has been released, citing five priorities for improving student achievement.
SCORE, or The State Collaborative on Reforming Education, says the state is marking the beginning of a dramatic turnaround.
Some of the work to be done to continue improvements include “sustained policy leadership” or making sure that reforms are put into place.
Others are to foster great teaching, support effective school leadership, use technology to enhance learning and empower parents.
