(Memphis) A change of heart for Maker’s Mark.

Their decision to lower the alcohol by volume to keep up with demand didn’t get such a nice response, so they’ve reversed the decision.

Following a number of nasty emails, phone calls and complaints, their CEO announced today they will not lower the alcohol content in the original 90 proof Maker’s Mark whiskey.

Last week they made the decision to lower the proof to help avoid a shortage.
