WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — West Memphis Mayor Marco McClendon provided updates Monday about the city’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mayor McClendon urged all citizens of West Memphis residents to take the coronavirus seriously and keep up social distancing practices.

As of April 13, the state of Arkansas had 1,398 coronavirus cases. Crittenden County has 101 cases and two deaths.
