SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office announced a body was located in the Loosahatchie River early Friday morning during a search for a missing teen.
Authorities didn’t say whether they believe it was 15-year-old Prince Stewart, but they did suspend the search. The individual has been taken to the forensic center for identification.

The call that Stewart was missing came in Thursday morning near Millington Road and Watkins, which is more than a mile from the river, sheriff’s office authorities said.
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with any information regarding Prince’s disappearance to contact the authorities.
They said they hope he made it out of the river, but are continuing to search. The river current and the terrain are challenges.
