MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are dead after two personal watercraft collided Saturday on Pickwick Lake, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said.

TWRA responded to the accident at Dry Creek Cove at Pickwick around 3 p.m. They said three people were involved.

TWRA said David Carter, 40, who was the operator of one of the personal water crafts, was confirmed dead at the scene. His six-year-old daughter, who was severely injured, was airlifted to Le Bonheur in Memphis, where she later died. The operator of the other personal watercraft was not injured.
