MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An overturned tractor trailer blocked several lanes of Interstate 40 near Sycamore View after a wreck Friday.
The situation caused major backups on I-40 eastbound and on I-240 going onto the interstate.
TDOT says the overturned truck was reported at 11:19 a.m. By 1:30 p.m., the interstate had been cleared and traffic was moving.
Memphis Police said it was the result of a wreck involving the truck and multiple vehicles. No one was reported hurt.
