CBS News reports the uncle of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev says his nephew has been buried in Virginia.

WTKR-TV provided the video report above which shows the Al-Barzakh Cemetery, in Doswell, VA, where it reports the body has been buried.

The reporter for WTKR said there are several new graves.

Thursday, it was announced Tsarnaev’s remains were “entombed” but did not say where, only that a “courageous and compassionate individual came forward” to help facilitate the burial.

The Boston Globe reports that individual was a Virginia woman who saw news reports and decided to help.

She said she reached out to the Islamic Society of Greater Richmond and asked for their help.

An Imam with the Islamic Center of Virginia confirmed the burial to WTVR.

Imam Ammar Amonette told WTKR  that the Islamic Center was not consulted and is not happy about that.

Tsarnaev was killed April 19 in a getaway attempt after a gunbattle with police. His younger brother, Dzhokhar, was captured later in the day and remains in custody.
