We have a furry friend near and dear to our hearts today.

This is “Beans” and you may remember seeing her on News Channel 3 last week.

There was an overwhelming response to Sabrina Hall’s story about Beans.

She was hit by a car, and left for dead on the side of a road.

But Melissa Croft at The Pet Hospitals in Collierville saw her, and rescued her. Way to go Melissa!

Unfortunately they did have to amputate her leg, but Beans just seems happy to be alive!

Right now, she wants to do more than she really can, but she was up walking the day of her surgery.

What she needs now is a family with the patience and love to help Beans get stronger, and get used to life with three legs.

We’re told Beans loves to get her belly rubbed and be petted all the time.

So she needs a family that can devote a lot of time to loving her!

If you’re interested in making Beans a part of your family, call The Pet Hospitals in Collierville.
