(Southaven) The man accused of dragging a Southaven police officer learned his fate today.

Joshua Graham was sentenced to 18 years in prison, followed by
12 years of post supervision.

A Southaven police officer pulled over Graham during a traffic stop when he tried to take off.

Police say Graham took the officer with him, dragging her for three quarters of a mile, as she dangled halfway out of the car.

The officer is okay.
