(Memphis) A traffic alert for those of you driving in East Memphis.
Driving in one part of this area could really try your patience for the next few days.
Crews are working on emergency sewer repairs at Poplar and Mendenhall.
That means two of the three westbound lanes of Poplar will be shut down for about ten days.
As that work progresses, one lane of northbound Mendenhall, just north of Poplar, will be closed and you won’t be able to turn left from Mendenhall on Poplar.
That should last about five days.
