Earlier this week, actor Pierce Brosnan announced some very sad news.

His daughter, Charlotte, passed away from ovarian cancer.

She was just 41.

It’s the same disease that took the life of Charlotte’s mother, Brosnan’s first wife, 20 years ago.

So, what genetic factors are involved with ovarian cancer?

Dr. Linda Smiley is from the West Clinic.

She’s here with Carol Rodman from the Ovarian Cancer Awareness Foundation.
