MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Some pandemic relief will soon be available for Memphis-area homeowners.

United Housing is launching a COVID-19 Mortgage Relief Program for homeowners facing foreclosure within the seven counties of the Memphis metro area.

Those who qualify could get up to $7,500 to catch up on their payments as well as counseling to develop a forbearance plan with the homeowner’s mortgage lender.
