(Memphis) Memphis Police are looking for a 2006 Chevy Silverado that was taken during a carjacking late Monday night. The car was taken at gun point at the Ridgeway Commons Complex off of Quince around 10pm Monday.

The victim Jeffery Marr told News Channel 3, that he and a friend were installing brakes on a car when masked men with guns appeared. Marr said the men demanded everything he had and he complied hoping they would leave.

“When I handed them everything they turn around and shot my partner and then asked him for the keys to the truck,” said Marr.

“When he got shot, I just panicked to help him. I wasn’t concerned about the truck then. I was just trying to get him out of the street to put him in the house so he can get help,” added Marr who said his friend is expected to be okay.

Marr said the suspects took off in his truck and he is asking anyone who spots the suspects to call police.

Again, the stolen truck is a 2006 Chevy Silverado. Marr said the truck has flames on the side, 24 inch rims and TVs on the inside. Anyone with information is asked to call 545-COPS.
