(Germantown, TN) A man charged with murdering his wife has withdrawn a court request.
Chris Jones is charged with killing Heather Palumbo-Jones after a fight in April.
Today an attorney for Jones withdrew his request for a speedy trial.
Jones was charged with second-degree murder.
Investigators say the couple was going through a divorce when he killed her, burned her body, wrapped her in a mattress and then dumped her in a rural area in Shelby County.
