MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman was arrested after a deadly crash that left a child dead in South Memphis.

Police arrested Ebony Taylor, 23, and charged her with accidents involving death or personal injury, financial responsibility and driving while her license was suspended.

According to authorities, officers responded to the scene of an accident in the area of S. Parkway East and South Lauderdale Street Thursday and found five-year-old Tra’siah Wright had been hit by a car. He was taken to Le Bonheur where he later died.
