MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis man was arrested after being accused of shooting a woman in Whitehaven.

According to police, Curtis Rolack and the woman were involved in an argument Monday evening in the 4000 block of Barton. A witness told authorities the woman hit Rolack with her vehicle and then proceeded to throw items through his bedroom window when he went into his apartment.

Rolack allegedly told her to stop. When she started to throw a piece of wood through the window, Rolack reportedly fired multiple shots, striking her in the side. The woman was transported to the Regional Medical Center and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.

Rolack was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to commit a crime.

It’s unknown if the woman will be charged in connection to the incident.
