MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis Police officer was rushed to the hospital overnight after being struck by a vehicle.
The officer was investigating a crash at Winchester and Lamar around midnight when he was hit by a 2013 Nissan Altima. He was taken to the Regional Medical Center in non-critical condition.
The driver who hit him did stop, authorities said. At this time, they do not believe the accident was intentional.
