High heels can cause stress fractures, tendonitis and all types of bone spurs.

And now according to a new study, they can also damage other parts of the body leading to
arthritis, long term pain and joint pain.

Doctors recommend that women wear heels no higher than two inches.

But if you just have to wear shoes with higher heels, substitute a pair of flats every now and then.
