(Memphis) Members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity’s alumni chapter teamed up with Home Depot for the organization’s annual “A/C for Seniors” campaign Friday.
Members collected 30 box fans and 35 air conditioning units.
“It is our civic duty to do what we can to protect and support the most vulnerable segments of the population,” says fraternity President Darrell Catron.
The donations will be dropped off at Christ Community Center to help elderly Memphians beat the heat.
