MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed near a grocery store in the Fairhills neighborhood.

The crash reportedly happened near the intersection of Pendleton and Byrd sometime after 7:30 p.m. Saturday night. Police say the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Memphis Police did not provide information on the person who struck the pedestrian.
