Maurice Miller

Executive Producer of Morning News

Maurice brings more than a decade of producing and leadership experience to Memphis. He joined WREG in January 2019, marking a return to Tennessee – the state he calls home.

For years, Maurice worked as a producer at WSMV in Nashville, where he covered a number of notable stories including: the FBI raid of the state Capitol known as Operation Tennessee Waltz, the murder of retired Titans quarterback Steve McNair, and the historic flood of 2010 which caused more than $1 billion of damage in Nashville alone.

In 2017, Maurice left Nashville for the sunny shores of Charleston, South Carolina, where he worked as an executive producer at WCBD. During his time in the Palmetto State, Maurice covered the sentencing of the Charleston church shooter, the federal court case stemming from the officer-involved shooting death of Walter Scott, and the multi-billion dollar failure of a nuclear power project.

A proud graduate of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Maurice lives in Bartlett with his wife and children.
