Megan Fayard joined the WREG News Channel 3 team in July 2023 as a Digital Content Producer.
Megan was born and raised in Gulfport, Mississippi on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at the University of Mississippi in 2022 (Hotty Toddy!)
While in college, Megan worked for the student-led newspaper The Daily Mississippian as an Arts and Culture Writer.
In 2024, she played a key role in the digital coverage of the high-profile, nationally covered Tyre Nichols Federal trial for three of the five former Memphis Police officers now convicted in Nichols’ January 2023 death.
