Raven was born in Buffalo, New York, but she was raised in Memphis. She has had a passion for writing and being in front of the camera ever since she was a child. During her childhood and teenage years, writing, acting, and beauty pageants were her favorite things to do. She graduated from Southaven High School in 2015. Raven then went on to earn a degree in broadcast journalism at the University of Memphis in 2019. Raven is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In 2022, she earned a masters degree in criminal justice at the University of Memphis.
Raven started her career as a producer in 2019 at a Memphis news station. Two years later, she moved to Nashville and worked as a producer at WSMV for three years. The Tennessee Three and the tragic mass shooting at the Covenant School are just some of the stories she covered in Nashville.
Raven has always had a passion for reporting and news, so she relocated to Memphis to pursue her lifelong dream. She joined the News Channel 3 team in 2025. Raven is happy to be home and honored to report stories in the city she loves.
When Raven is not reporting news, she is either binge watching true crimes or Real Housewives, attending concerts, or spending time with friends and family.
