Stacy joined WREG in October 2016. She has thoroughly enjoyed making Memphis her home by experiencing the history, cheering on the Grizzlies and meeting the Mid-South’s wonderful people.
Stacy came to Memphis from Charleston, South Carolina, where she worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WCIV-TV. She covered seminal stories in Charleston, including the Emanuel AME Church shooting, the Confederate flag removal, historic flooding and the Walter Scott shooting. Her reporting on faulty gun background checks and an attempted school shooting led state lawmakers to pass a law requiring mandatory mental health adjudication reporting to the FBI. The Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas honored Stacy as Reporter of the Year in 2015.
Before Charleston, Stacy worked as a weekend anchor and reporter at WBOY-TV in Clarksburg, West Virginia. While in college, she interned in her hometown of Baltimore at local news stations WJZ and WBFF.
Stacy is a proud graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She graduated with degrees in both journalism and political science. Outside of work, she enjoys rooting on her hometown Ravens, traveling and doing yoga. She’s also passionate about giving back to the community through volunteer work at organizations like MIFA and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
