OXFORD, Miss. — They may be little kids but that’s not limiting the students at Lafayette Elementary School from raising big money for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

Go Jim Go’s Oxford tour day stopped at the school Friday morning and Jim Jaggers had a hard time standing after the principal gave him a check for more than $7,000.

That’s an amazing amount for any school and the people at Lafayette Elementary say they raised it in just a couple of weeks with a variety of fundraisers, including a bike raffle.

Way to go!
