100 coats donated to Tim’s Coats for Kids Campaign

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — WREG would like to thank Christian Brothers High School and Christian Brothers Security Guard Hank Johnson for a generous donation.

Mr. Johnson dropped off not one, but one hundred coats for Tim’s Coats for Kids Campaign early Saturday afternoon.

When the temperature drops, the need for help goes up, and WREG’s Tim Simpson plans to keep them, warm this winter.

Tim wants to fill the newly finished closet with three-thousand coats for children in need.

Once the closet is full, we will get the coats cleaned, stored and hand them out.

On Thursday, November 13th, we will be holding a coat drive to help fill Tim’s Closet right here at WREG.

The first two hundred people to bring two cats or more will get a coupon for a free car wash at Carwash USA.

Make sure to stop by 803 Channel 3 Drive from 6a.m. to 6: 30p.m. next Thursday or go to digital-stage.wreg.com  to find out where else you can donate coats anytime.
