132k pounds of ground beef recalled due to possible E.coli contamination

WASHINGTON — Thousands of pounds of ground beef have been recalled due to possible E. coli contamination.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Cargill Meat Solutions recalled 132,606 pounds of beef products nationwide after several people became ill and one person died in July 2018. Those individuals had reportedly consumed ground beef products from retailers that were supplied by the company.

The recall includes products that were packaged on June 21, 2018.

If you have any of these products do not consume them. They should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
