MEMPHIS, Tenn. — There are many in Memphis who can cook up some delicious food — especially barbecue — but Logan Guleff is in a class of his own.

He’s only 14 years old, and he’s already nationally known with many honors to his name.

His latest accomplishment was being named to Time‘s 30 Most Influential Teens of 2016 list.

Logan is used to the spotlight. His cooking hit the national stage when he was 9 and appeared on the Today Show to show off his “creative sandwich” recipe.

Logan has previously won the cooking show MasterChef Junior in 2014 and earned the title “Best New Southern Cook” from Southern Living in 2016. He also appeared on Fortune‘s 18 Under 18 list and has met President Barack Obama.

Time lists him as the youngest judge for the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest.

He’s even created his own rubs and spices blends.

This is the second year in a row a Memphian has made Time‘s list. Moziah Bridges, the teen who started his own bow tie business, Mo’s Bows, was one of the most influential teens last year.
