MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Humane Society is at it again, saving animals from terrible living conditions.

The society was able to save 18 dogs from a home in North Memphis last week.

Investigators said they were called to a house on Belfast Drive, and that’s where they found a backyard full of fecal matter and litter…and dogs.

The owner told the investigators he was not able to take care of the animals properly. He cooperated with the law.
