CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, Ark. — Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a house explosion that killed two people and injured three others in Monette, Arkansas.

All three victims are being treated at Regional Medical Center for serious burns.

The explosion happened Saturday at home on County Road 507.

Firefighters worked to put out the flames and smoke.

While investigators haven’t pinpointed the exact cause, they say they have no reason to believe criminal activity was involved.
