(Memphis) While Memphis is known as one of the best cities to get barbecue, few know that it’s home to some of the best kosher barbecue.
The 25 annual ASBEE (Anshei Sphard-Beth El Emeth Congregation) World Kosher BBQ Contest and Festival took place Sunday afternoon.
Shelby County Sheriff Bill Oldham was a special guest judge for the cooking contest which featured 40 teams from across the U.S.
There was also a 3-on3 basketball tournament with coaches and referees provided by the Memphis Grizzlies, a petting zoo and a children’s fun zone.
