MEMPHIS, Tenn. —One person is dead and several others injured following a horrifying two-car crash in North Memphis.

According to police, a stolen vehicle hit a second car in the 2900 block of Chelsea Ave. near Warford St. around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver and passenger from the first vehicle fled leaving four people injured on the scene.

One of the passengers in the second car was taken to the hospital where they died. Two others were transported in critical condition.

WREG was told there were juveniles involved in the crash. They were reportedly taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
