MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Four suspects involved in the fatal shooting of the 13-year-old in Panola County, Mississippi, have been identified and are all charged with second-degree murder.

The Batesville Police Department identified the four suspects as the following:
- El-Tavien Andrews, 16 – Second Degree murder
- Jabari Byrd, 17 – Second Degree murder
- Kaderius Frost, 20 – Second Degree murder
- Zyion Hughes, 15 – Second Degree murder
The Batesville Police Department said that the shooting occurred just after 11:30 p.m. on April 13 at the corner of Everette Street and Claude Street.
The Panola County Sheriff’s Office says three other people have been arrested in connection with this shooting. Their names have not been released.
The teenager was sitting in the passenger seat of a car when someone began shooting. He was shot in the head.
Terry Gardner told WREG his cousin, Cazarius Gardner, was the 13-year-old shot Sunday night.
The teen was transported to a Memphis hospital, where he died.
