GRENADA, Miss. — A 4-year-old boy was shot in the head early Friday morning while he was in his home, Grenada Police Capt. George Douglas said.

Police said they received a call to East Street at about 1 a.m. where they found Jordan Jamal Conley suffering from a gunshot wound.

Jordan had been sitting inside the house with two of his siblings when someone started shooting, police said. Police are investigating where the shots came from.

Jordan was first taken to a hospital in Grenada then later airlifted to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
