(Memphis) Memphis Police have confirmed that a 9-year-old boy drowned in an east Memphis swimming pool.
Reports of a 9-year-old drowned in a pool in the 1500 block of Titus came in around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Witnesses tell WREG Christopher McLawyer was in the pool with two other boys who also had to be pulled from the water. The boy was taken to Le Bonheur where he was pronounced dead.
