MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An accident caused a temporary backup on Thursday.
Two cars collided in the construction zone of I-40 at Sam Cooper Boulevard going eastbound just before the start of rush hour.
The accident itself caused one lane to be blocked, but when first responders arrived on the scene, it went to two.
WREG was told neither of the drivers involved were injured in the accident.
