(Jonesboro, AR) Police in Jonesboro, AR say their case in the death of Chavis Carter is complete.
Officers were under pressure to explain how Carter shot himself while handcuffed in the back a squad car.
From the beginning, police said Carter shot himself and an autopsy agreed.
Carter’s family wanted more information, answers as to how that was possible.
Jonesboro Police said earlier that they stand by their conclusion Carter was capable of shooting himself, with a gun missed during a frisking, while handcuffed.
No charges have been filed.
